Review VerdictThe Viltrox AF 15mm f/1.7 Air XF is another welcome addition to their ever-increasing prime lens lineup. At least on 26-megapixel sensors, the sharpness is fine from f/1.7 and great from f/2.8. At f/1.7. Image distortions are on a low level, albeit a bit wavy. The vignetting is a bit on the high side, which doesn't come as a surprise given the compact size of the lens. Sun stars aren't a big strength, if that's your thing. The build quality follows the tradition of the other Viltrox Air lenses. The engineering plastics are of good quality, and everything is tightly assembled. While it doesn't have any kind of weather sealing, the internal focusing mechanism should provide at least a bit of protection against dust. The AF uses an older-style STM motor. However, it's still pretty fast and essentially silent. It may not be the most fancy lens around, but budget-oriented users may certainly appreciate a lens that is decent, surprisingly fast, and which still doesn't cost an arm and a leg If you'd like to support our work, please consider shopping for this or other lenses via one of the following partners: * Viltrox Store * Amazon (Europe) * B&H (US) * Adorama (US)

AI-assisted summary — verify against linked sourcesWhere can this lens be adapted?
The Fujifilm X mount has a flange distance of 17.7 mm. A plain adapter fits a camera whose flange distance is at least 1.46 mm shorter. How lens adapters work
- Native lenses set the aperture, and often the focus, electronically. On a plain adapter they do not work. Use an electronic adapter made for this pair; for many pairs nobody makes one. Fully manual lenses are the exception.
- Nikon ZAdapter · 1.7 mm
Covers APS-C: it can vignette on a full-frame sensor.
- Fujifilm XNative
No plain adapter reaches infinity focus on: Sony E, Canon RF, L-Mount, Micro Four Thirds, Fujifilm G (GFX), Canon EF-M, Canon EF, Nikon F.
